Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused TPA Services Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day administrative and operational functions related to third-party administration services. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and problem-solver who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, employees, carriers, and vendors—responding to inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
- Process applications and related documentation, verifying for accuracy and following up on missing or incomplete information.
- Maintain and update internal databases to ensure accurate and timely data entry and recordkeeping.
- Support the administration of group renewals and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to gather and organize required information.
- Assist with monthly billing cycles, process deposits, track and input ACH transactions, and provide support for audits as needed.
- Compute, proofread, and validate various forms of data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with carriers, physicians, group administrators, and insured employees to address and resolve service-related concerns.
- Maintain positive, effective working relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Apply working knowledge of COBRA rules and regulations in the context of client and participant interactions.
- Act as a liaison between clients and vendors to ensure smooth coordination and service delivery.
- Participate in special projects and support additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in TPA services, insurance, employee benefits, or a related administrative role preferred.
- Years of customer service experience in an office environment, minimum of 2 years
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with databases and online platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Team player with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
