Title: P&C Claims Manager

As our dedicated Claims Manager in our Property & Casualty Department, you will guide clients through some of their most critical moments- offering clarity, advocacy, and confidence when it's needed most.
This is more than a technical role; it’s a client-facing position rooted in service and strategy. You will be the steady presence that helps nonprofit organizations navigate the claims process with professionalism, transparency, and efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary claims consultant for commercial P&C accounts
- Respond to all claims-related inquiries within 24 hours
- Determine appropriate carriers to be notified and what steps follow- either independently or in collaboration with the team
- Facilitate first notice of loss or empower clients with guidance for direct reporting
- Use our agency management system (Applied Epic) to:
- Maintain real-time claim status
- Set and track tasks to manage claim progress
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Producers to:
- Communicate risks
- Expose coverage gaps
- Address potential impact on upcoming renewals
- Provide loss-run reports as needed
- Report coverage omissions and anomalies to internal teams
- Create claims kit templates to educate clients and streamline compliance
- Assist with experience modification factor estimates and analysis
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
- 3–5+ years of commercial property & casualty claims experience
- Ability to interpret insurance coverage forms, follow carrier practices and reporting requirements
- Proficiency with agency management systems (Applied Epic preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport, establish integrity and develop strong relationships with carriers and clients
- Ability to balance advocacy with professional boundaries and business needs
